Meet at the Public Access Boat Ramp at 22 Torrey Road, Sutton, MA

Volunteers are needed to canvas the lake shoreline, public boat ramp, and watershed roadsides to remove litter and other potential threats to water quality. Gloves and trash bags are provided.  Refreshments, good company, and the fresh beauty of Manchaug Pond will make for a great morning! Educational information available.

Take part in a Spring Cleanup at Old Slater Mill during National Volunteer Week and National Park Week!  Help prepare the park for spring and summer by raking leaves and cleaning up the grounds. Staff will provide gloves, rakes, brooms, and all other supplies. It is recommended that you wear comfortable shoes and clothing for working outdoors. This cleanup will take place rain or shine.

Spring Cleanup at Roger Williams National Memorial, 282 N. Main St., Providence, RI

 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Celebrate National Park Week (April 16, 2022 – April 24, 2022), by helping the staff at Roger Williams National Memorial clear away the debris from this past winter. Rake leaves, trim bushes, prepare flower beds, and complete a variety of other projects. The memorial will provide disposable gloves, rakes, and other supplies needed. It’s recommended that you wear comfortable shoes and clothing appropriate for working outside.
