The Spaulding R. Aldrich Heritage Gallery will be hosting an An Eclectic Mix – Opening Reception at 50 Douglas Road, Whitinsville, MA
Sam Tomasiello sold out the last time we had his oil pastel paintings in our gallery. His whimsical, dynamic imagery commands your attention and his simple, poetic style makes you smile.
Al Weems is a talented artist whose black and white photographs have been winning awards in the Blackstone Valley and beyond for years. Come see his work, including his new color photographs.
Jim Henderson’s wood sculpture, which are displayed inside the gallery, are part of a series hs started in the late 1990s. He then used these pieces as forms to create his aluminum (shown inside the gallery) and his bronze sculpture, which hs has installed on our Dennis H. Rice Community plaza.
Philip Marshall has also installed two new steel and pigment sculpture, “Distant” and “Pitcher” on our Dennis H. Rice Community plaza. Philip also shares some of his drawings and inspiration for his work, which will be on display inside the gallery.
