Bird Walk at Lake Ripple Shoreline
Blackstone Heritage Corridor Birding Ambassadors Beth and Paul Milke are leading a bird walk along the Lake Ripple Shoreline in Grafton, MA. The hike will be on the trail along the west side of Lake Ripple — about a mile of level woodland one-way. There’s a short, low stretch near the water with American Chestnut Tree sprouts and typical wetland plants that would be of interest, along with any birds we come across.Bring binoculars if you have them, water, bug spray, etc.
We have permission to park at the Grafton Lions Club lot (68 Brigham Hill Rd, North Grafton, MA) and will meet there at 8:00 am.
Brigham Hill Rd. (west side of Providence Rd/Rte. 122) is just south of the Police Bldg./Town Hall. The driveway to the Lions Club is about a half-mile along Brigham Hill Rd, on the right.
