First Day Hike at River Bend Farm

Celebrate the New Year with a First Day Hike at the Blackstone River and Canal Heritage State Park as we walk along the canal towpath, view the river, and find signs of winter
wildlife along the waterways and forest. Warm up after at the River Bend Farm Visitor Center with conversation by the fire.
Meet at the River Bend Farm Visitor Center parking lot (287 Oak Street, Uxbridge, MA).

~1.5 miles over a compacted gravel surface with no inclines.

Appropriate for ages 12 and up. Visitor Center opens at 8:30 am. Registration begins at 9:00 am. Be prepared for cold weather: dress in layers and wear winter boots. The towpath is ADA accessible (subject to weather conditions). Dogs are welcome on-leash.
