Paddle in the Blackstone Watershed – Bowdish Lake – Glocester RI

Come paddle with the Blackstone Valley Paddle Club on Bowdish Lake in Glocster RI. The put-in is at the George Washington Camping Area, 2185 Putnam Pike (Rt 44) Chepachet, RI. Trip is suitable for all boats and abilities.
This will be a casual paddle around the lake with some very scenic views. There will be an optional stop at the swimming beach for a quick dip if the weather is warm and you are so inclined. Please tell the attendant at the booth when you drive in, that you are using the boat ramp. There will not be a charge for using the state ramp.
Every Tuesday from mid-May through August the Blackstone Valley Paddle Club paddles a different part of the Blackstone River watershed. Membership is required. If you are not a yet a member and are undecided about joining, come with us for a trip to help make up your mind. Introduce yourself to one of the trip leaders in the orange shirts who will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Properly fitting PFDs are required to be worn on all BVPC trips. Inflatable PFDs or boats are not acceptable for BVPC trips.
