Pollinator Hotels: A Scavenger Hunt

Join us on September 28 from 11 AM – 1PM in 195 District Park at 350 Eddy St. for a scavenger hunt and picnic to celebrate the unveiling of pollinator hotels and a butterfly sculpture in the park. This event is FREE and all-ages – come and earn prizes, check out pollinator hotels and art, get your face painted, and bring a picnic basket!

The hotels are by the Pollinators mural installed earlier this summer. For this piece, local Dominican-born, multi-disciplinary artist René Gómez created a brightly colorful homage to the state of Rhode Island and the many pollinators that contribute to the local ecosystem.

This mural compliments the existing nearby flower planters and the bases on which the pollinator hotels are situated, which also feature pollinator imagery painted by NaturalsNatural.
