Samantha’s Afternoon Tea

Indulge in Samantha’s Afternoon Tea, where doll lovers (ages 6 and up) and their favorite dolls are cordially invited to experience the charm of a traditional tea party, alongside an adult companion. Immerse yourself in the ambiance of Hearthside’s historic setting, complete with linen and lace tablecloths, tiered dishes, elegant china, dainty sandwiches, sweets, and your choice of hot tea or refreshing lemonade.

Learn about proper tea etiquette and the life of young girls in the early 1900s through a presentation by Theadora Minca, a former youth docent at Hearthside. While our volunteer staff will be dressed in period attire, guests are welcome to wear contemporary clothing.

Exciting features include prizes, raffles, museum tours, and shopping our exclusive doll collection at our gift shop. Each attendee will receive a keepsake photo to cherish the memories.

Two seating options available: 12:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Proceeds from this event support the preservation and programming of Hearthside House and other town-owned heritage sites at the Great Road Heritage Campus.
