The DAM Race 5K Run/ 3K Walk

Annual road race/health walk along the shores of the beautiful Manchaug Pond during fall foliage season will be held the morning of Saturday, October 15, 2022. Bringing community together for a great cause, a beautiful public natural resource, and in support of the work of the Manchaug Pond Foundation, THE DAM RACE offers a 5K (3.1 mile) course for runners that takes participants for a scenic trek along Manchaug Pond. Walkers will enjoy a healthy 3K (1.9 mile) route – strollers welcome. All are invited to participate as runners/walkers, sponsors/donors and/or volunteers.  The start and finish line offers parking for contestants and spectators. There will be a turn-around location mid-race. Volunteers along the route will control traffic and ensure safety. Prizes and refreshments post-race! Register/sponsor before September 26th to receive a free race tee. Race day registration also available with no race tee guarantee, opening at 8:30 a.m. with a 9:30 a.m. race start.
