ValleyCAST Art Exhibit: I AM MORE. Facing Stigma.

This powerful black and white photography exhibit by Lissy Thomas aims to erase the stigma that surrounds mental illness by expanding our perceptions and challenging expectations of what mental illness “looks like.”

The courageous models are more than their depression, their anxiety, their eating disorder, their post-traumatic stress disorder, or being a suicide survivor. They are musicians, artists, nature lovers, parents, daughters, sons, and friends; and they are all Facing Stigma.

Opening Reception, Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 5:00-7:30 PM

Exhibit ends October 8.

This exhibit is part of The Yellow Tulip Project, an organization focused on smashing the stigma that surrounds mental illness and building a community where people realize there is help and hope out there. Learn more about their work at https://theyellowtulipproject.org/
