Paddling access to Pascoag Reservoir is at Echo Lake Fishing Area. The state boat ramp is on the southwestern part of Pascoag Reservoir, which is 352 acres. The DEM states there is a 10 horsepower engine limit on the Reservoir, but this must not apply to boats docked at private homes. Make sure to stay clear of the dam at the far northeast end of the reservoir, where the water flows over the dam into Union Pond. The shoreline is fairly heavily developed with private homes, and there are a few interesting sights such as a mini Stonehenge and a Statue of Liberty. To circumnavigate the Reservoir would take approximately two hours to cover a bit more than four miles.

From Route 44 West take Jackson Schoolhouse Road. Go 1/2 mile and turn right onto Maroney Road/Widow Smith Road. This turn comes just after you cross a small narrow bridge over the reservoir. The boat ramp is on the right, 200 feet down Maroney Road.
