- The earliest grist and saw mills were built in Riverdale before 1740

- Situated between I-90, I-395, I-495, and Route 146, making it a great central location for the Blackstone Heritage Corridor

This video, over 10 years in the making, tells the story of the Whitin family, their companies, and the village of Whitinsville. It follows this history from the late 1700s to the present, drawing in the perspectives of local historians, members of the Whitin family, and individuals from the Northbridge community.
