
About the Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor
Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor works with community partners to preserve and promote the Valley’s historic, cultural, natural, and recreational resources for current and future generations.
Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor, Inc. (BHC) is a dynamic and successful nonprofit 501 (c)(3) corporation. It is the successor of the former federal commission and the management entity for the Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor. BHC is:
- committed to the long term vitality of the region;
- partnering with municipalities, nonprofits, businesses, and residents to restore, retain and reinvigorate the Valley;
- coordinating enthusiastic volunteers to work on behalf of BHC and its partners, and
- facilitating a variety of programs and events to connect people to the National Heritage Corridor and its nationally-significant resources.
BHC works closely with the new Blackstone River Valley National Historical Park and provides services throughout the 25 towns of the National Heritage Corridor to complement the work of the Park:
