LEVITT AMP – GIRLS ON GRASS
Join NeighborWorks Blackstone River Valley at beautiful River Island Art Park in downtown Woonsocket for the 8th of 10 FREE concerts for the Levitt AMP Woonsocket Music Series. Concerts will continue every Friday from June 16 – August 18.
August 4th th features Girls on Grass with the opening act Alexus Lee and is MC’ed by Marlon Carey.
The Levitt AMP Woonsocket Music Series is FREE and open to the public. Come ready to eat, dance, and have a great time! Bring a friend and something to sit on.

ABOUT GIRLS ON GRASS
The vibrant rock band Girl on Grass comprises Barabara Endes, songwriter and lead singer, guitarist David Weiss, bassist Dave Mandl, and drummer Nancy Polstein. They describe their sound as a combination of country, garage, and punk rock.
ABOUT ALEXUS LEE
Soul and R&B vocalist from Providence, RI, Alexus Lee, graduated from Berklee College of Music one year early and entered the music industry. She’s performed on the same stage with artists like Mac Ayres. And has been nominated for a Rhode Island Music Award of 2022’s “Best Vocalist.” A Fun Fact about Alexus is she plays both piano and violin.

River Island Art Park is located at 95 Bernon Street, Woonsocket, RI. The park offers plenty of open grass for seating and is right along the beautiful Blackstone River.
Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs to the open lawn concert setting. All ages are welcome, and admission is FREE.
Free parking is available at municipal lots throughout the city.
