LEVITT AMP WOONSOCKET – YOUNG DUBLINERS

NeighborWorks Blackstone River Valley presents Levitt Amp Woonsocket at the beautiful River Island Art Park in downtown Woonsocket. This week is the sixth of 10 FREE concerts for the Levitt AMP Woonsocket Music Series. Concerts will continue every Friday through August 18.

July 21st features Young Dubliners with the opening act Julie Rhodes and is MC’ed by Marlon Carey.
The Levitt AMP Woonsocket Music Series is FREE and open to the public. Come ready to eat, dance, and have a great time! Bring a friend and something to sit on.

ABOUT YOUNG DUBLINERS
Young Dubliners is an Irish Rock Band from LA formed after member Keith Roberts and past member Paul O’Toole-Dublin Natives met in a pub. They describe their music as “original rock compositions and Irish folk songs with a rock twist.” Due to the band’s Irish nature, their music vibrates with an Irish rock spirit, including instruments like the fiddle, flute, whistle, pipes, and more. A fun fact is they tour both America and Ireland.

ABOUT JULIE RHODES
Sharing her rustic and deep voice is Julie Rhodes, a soul, rock, and country singer/songwriter. She has been named “Female Vocalist of the Year”(2017), “Americana Artist of the Year” (2017), and “New Artist of the Year” (2016) by the Boston Music Awards.

RIVER ISLAND ART PARK
River Island Art Park is located at 95 Bernon Street, Woonsocket, RI. The park offers plenty of open grass for seating and is right along the beautiful Blackstone River.
Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs to the open lawn concert setting. All ages are welcome, and admission is FREE.
Free parking is available at municipal lots throughout the city.
