Ocean State Bird Club 10th Annual Bird Club and Celebration

This year marks our tenth year as a club. For our Tenth Anniversary Celebration, we invited Greg Miller to speak. Greg is famous for his 1998 Big Year which was chronicled in Mark Obamscik book entitled, The Big Year: A Tale of Man, Nature, and Fowl Obsession. The best selling book along with the 2011 movie, The Big Year, propelled Greg into celebrity status. In between speaking engagements, Greg is a Senior Leader and Master Story Teller for Wildside Nature Tours.

This is our Annual Meeting which means we will start with club business including the acknowledgement of Board members who are not returning and the voting for new officers. The budget will be reviewed and bylaw changes and additions will be voted upon. Afterwards, Greg will present about his experience with his now famous Big Year. At the end of the meeting, door prizes will be awarded.
