RhodeMap RI was a process through which the State sought to strengthen our economy, meet current and future housing needs, and plan for future growth through the development of integrated plans and guidance consistent with existing strategies for transportation, land use and environmental protection. Blackstone Heritage Corridor assisted with the planning process by helping to facilitate the most extensive public outreach ever conducted by a Statewide Planning Program, with nearly 1,000 Rhode Islanders contributing to the effort.
