Hike the Turner Reservoir

EVENT: Turner ReservoirDATE: Sunday, September 24, 2023 – 9:00 A.M.TOWN: East ProvidenceDISTANCE: 2 miles +/-DIFFICULTLY: Fairly easyMEETING LOCATION: NEW LOCATION at HUNT’S MILL, 65 Hunt’s Mills Road, E. ProvidenceDESCRIPTION:This will be a hike along the eastern shore of the Turner Reservoir. Bug spray and sunscreen are suggested, along with plenty of water if it is a hot day. There are no restrooms. Leashed dogs welcome. This will be a casual-paced walk, stopping often for photo opportunities. The reservoir is home to several birds including great blue herons. Bald eagles have been spotted here on occasion.
