The Birth of the Industrial Revolution

The Blackstone Valley Heritage Center was the first heritage center to open, celebrating the Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor and America's Heritage River System.  In addition to housing the office of the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council, the Visitor Center acts as a one-stop information resource for visitors and residents.  More than 300 different brochures are available, allowing visitors to quickly pick up information on local and regional businesses, organizations, and activities.  The Visitor Center's 90-seat theater offers a compelling 20-minute film retracing the Valley's mill history and its impact on the development of the Blackstone River Valley. Visitor services, gallery, gift shop, and exhibits.
