Settled in 1664, Incorporated in 1667
- The first European settlers in Mendon were a group of 15 families from Braintree and Weymouth Massachusetts
- Mendon once included the towns of Blackstone and Millville
- In the 1930’s, P.A. Mills Operated the Mendon Airport. This was mostly for commercial use and shut down shortly after the hurricane in 1938.
- In 1970, Aerosmith performed at Nipmuc Regional High School in Mendon
